Carl Fletcher - The Gappalioness Monkey Project
Past Exhibitions — By admin on September 11, 2013 15:13The Gappalioness Monkey Project by Carl Fletcher until Saturday 28 September 2013.
Carl Fletcher produces small scale artworks among other creations, which he describes as “being inspired by the world situation, particularly the credit crunch, oil war, white storm and man’s greed.
I’m very meticulous in producing my artwork, which all has political meaning in one form or another”.
Carl believes that the time he spent in L.A during the 80s and 90s were a major influence on his work.
As well as being a realist, he also retains a sense of optimism about the world and the people who inhabit it. “I try to include a rainbow in a number of my pieces - the rainbow being a symbol of optimism and hope.”

Normally on the 4th Friday of each Month is an acoustic music event run by Graham Holland and Stuart Todd.
The 2nd Friday of each month is Acoustic Dustbowl, an acoustic music event run by Americana UK Promotions and featuring local, national and international Americana, roots and folk artists.
On the last Thursday of every Month. A laid back atmosphere, a late-night bar... beautiful music and some lamp-lit magic.
