Richard Meaghan - 'No Current Bun' - SHOWING NOW

Richard Meaghan was born in 1973 and studied Fine Art at Staffordshire University. He recently exhibited alongside Turner Prize winning artist’s Chris Ofili and Keith Tyson,in Exposed - Art and Culture in England’s North West. He lives in Liverpool and has upcoming exhibitions in Copenhagen, Hamburg and Berlin. 

Mike Absalom - 'The Peninsula'

Building on Irish artist Mike Absalom’s successful exhibition My Irish Eyes on Liverpool in 2007 at View Two, he returns in 2008 with The Peninsula.

View Two Gallery celebrates its passion for art and music with an exhibition and evening of live music.
Artists and musicians will be selected by founder and owner of View Two, Ken Martin who is currently working as architect for the New Brighton Floral Pavilion redevelopment, due for completion in November 2008, and producing a series of drawings and prints of Liverpool.

Culture According to Hall & Grant

They gave us global warming with their first joint cartoon exhibition The World According to Tony Hall and Peter Grant. This was followed in 2007 with Liverpool According to Grant and Hall, a celebration of the city’s 800th birthday. Now comes Culture According to Hall and Grant. 

James Cummins - 'Between the Lines'

James Cummins was born in Portland Gardens in the Scotland Road area of Liverpool and has studied painting in Spain, Italy, India and Bali. He currently lives and works as an independent artist in Berlin.

John Baldwin - 'There is no Story'

John Baldwin was born in 1946 in Oswaldtwistle, Lancashire and currently lives in Silverdale. He has had recent exhibitions in London and Pamplona and been instrumental in the campaign to preserve Kurt Schwittter’s Merzbarn in the Lake District. 

Luli Barzman - 'Fruitopia'

Following studies in film, photography and art history at UCLA, Luli Barzman has produced films, events and photographic series that address issues relating to women’s bodies, with a particular emphasis on surrealism and contemporary dance, alongside formal research on colour. Luli lives and works in Paris.

Thomas Jacobi - 'From a Distance - At Close Range'
Recent Ink Rubbings and Pigment Works on Paper, China 2005 - 2008

The Stuckists - 'An Antidote to the Ghastly Turner Prize'

The infamous phenomenon that is The Stuckists return to Liverpool for the first time since their major show at the Walker Art Gallery for the 2004 Biennial – described by the gallery as “a really, really popular show and very successful.” 

Transvoyeur - 'Aesthetic Innovation'

Transvoyeur was established in 2003 to enable international exchange and collaboration between contemporary artists.
Aesthetic Innovation will comprise of Transvoyeur artists and curators Chris Boyd and Gaynor Evelyn Sweeney and a further four artists to be announced.
