Mary McCombs, Tom Strasser [Vienna], George Lawless

Liverpool Acoustic Live will be kicking off the August bank holiday weekend with an acoustic treat for lovers of great guitar playing.
TJ & Murphy
Local acoustic due TJ & Murphy have built a solid reputation for tight harmonies, intricate guitar playing, and engaging songwriting. They are regulars at the International Guitar Festival of Great Britain, and have played at festivals across Europe.

Mary McCombs
One of the people behind Liverpool’s Cellar Folk Club, Mary sings sweet songs about life and Liverpool. She has performed at the last two Liverpool Acoustic Afternoons at the Threshold Festival, and we’re looking forward to seeing her play in the intimate View Two Gallery.

Tom Strasser
Hailing from Vienna in Austria, Tom will be visiting Liverpool as part of his UK tour, and will be showcasing his distinctive fret-tapping guitar style.

and introducing George Lawless
The opening performer at the Liverpool Acoustic Afternoon in June was a teenager called George Lawless who stunned everyone present with his incredibly accomplished instrumental guitar playing. In fact, we were so impressed we’ve offered him an opening slot at this gig as part of our ongoing mission to support up-and-coming young performers.

Doors open at 8pm and the music runs from 8.30pm to just after 11pm. Unfortunately there is no disabled access as the venue is on the third floor of the gallery. There is a full bar, and it’s an over 14 event.

Tickets are £5 in advance and £6 on the door.
