For one night only SOUP present something akin to Warhol’s EXPLODING PLASTIC INEVITABLE only without the strobes, dancers, Mr. Reed and Heroin! Join us at the VIEW2 GALLERY on Matthew St. for an evening of Art, Music, Poetry and some good ol’ fashioned fun!
There will be…
The second SOUP exhibition of the year featuring new artworks by Louise Waller, Adam Vaughan, Tiffany Kendal, Rachel Harding, Wendy Williams and Michael Aitken.
Performances by…
MAN IN THE DARK
Like a two pronged fork stabbing freely at the brain receptors that register ‘rock’ and ‘roll’
THE BLIND RABBIT CHOIR
Warren songs to lead you far away from this darkness and deep into the bright lights
SOUPOETRY (AKA the worst name for anything ever!)
Four members from the SOUP prose arm will gently flex their sweet words into your head based listening devices
And…
AUDIOSOUP COLLECTIVE vs. RED WIRE SOUNDSYSTEM
The SOUP DJs grind the MP3s of steel against the Red Wire DJs in an attempt to make you dance in the most unholy indecent way possible…. Expect Motown, Motorhead, Mingus, Madness & Mogwai and lots of other music from 25 other letters.
