Liverpool band Antbear takeover the gallery this month with a strange and exotic spectrum of art works created by its five band members. The exhibition meets live music in a program especially curated by Antbear, long standing performers in Liverpool’s music scene.
Brooding, bruised, indefatigable spirit, messy cacophony, there are many adjectives that can be employed to describe the sound of the five piece… each can only hint at the upcoming eclectic selection of songs and works to be aired in the gallery. From conveying grandiose notions of disenchantment with social inequalities to struggles of the heart, Antbear cross their aural interests with their visuals.
