Lost Voices at View Two Gallery, Liverpool.
Thursday 29th October.
Charnock and Russell (www.myspace.com/charnockandrussell), are two sensitive country boys, corrupted by city life, who sing fragile three-minute pop songs about life, love and loss… they create obsessively imperfect mantras of regret and longing set to a rickety backdrop of tender finger-tickled guitar and homely banjo.
Gnu and the Shrew (www.myspace.com/gnuandtheshrew) are a gloriously quirky duo from some place midway between Manchester and Berlin. Bierkeller cabaret meets northern folk club soul (?), with guitars, kazoos and silly hats.
and there will almost certainly be something else as well…
Tickets £5/3 on the door.
Doors open @ 8.30 and… music until late
Expect chaos…

Liverpool Acoustic Live - Friday 23rd October 2009. The doors open at 8.00pm and the music starts at 8.30pm.
Entrance is £4 on the door, or £3 in advance from contact[at]liverpoolacoustic.co.uk
We’ve got some extra special acts performing for us on the night - The Complete Unknown, Daniela Bove and Nicole Collarbone, Zoe Nicol, plus Graham Holland
Unfortunately Mark Wilson has had to pull out of this gig due to personal reasons. We wish Mark all the best and hope to re-book him for a future Liverpool Acoustic Live.
To fill the space we’ve asked Rosie Jones, Tony Kehoe, and Stuart Todd to play a couple of songs each - great stuff!
Further details about the artists can be found at http://spotlight.liverpoolacoustic.co.uk/2009/10/october-2009-liverpool-acoustic-live.html
